About Tiny Rebel:

Back in 2012 Brad & Gazz set off on a mission to bring the fun into craft beer.

We’re passionate about beer, but we’re also just as passionate about bringing you good times

The Role:

Our brewers are responsible for a variety of operations within the brewery, from the initial wort production process through to quality assurance procedures in the final pack. Our team thrives on clear and effective communication and we emphasise a ‘right first time focus’ mentality in everything we do.

Key Accountabilities

Raw material intake, preparation, stock rotation and maintenance.
Wort production on both of our dual stream 60 hL brewhouses.
Adherence to quality assurance procedures and specifications.
Maintaining brewery hygiene and effective reporting of defects.
Adherence to health and safety legislation.
Input with regards to recipe formulation and new product development.
Working closely with other departments (Cellaring, Quality, Packaging and Warehousing) to deliver a quality product from grain to glass.


Experience/Skills:

Minimum 1 years experience working in a commercial brewery.
A relevant qualification in brewing is preferred, but not essential.
Capable of physical work (able to move malt sacks & hop boxes <30 kg)
Excellent communication skills & ability to work effectively alone and within a team.
Able to demonstrate a good understanding of basic food hygiene, health and safety legislation as well as quality assurance principles
A passion for beer and brewing
