Brewfest is on Hiatus

After three years of running Brewfest, we’re doing a Glastonbury and having a fallow year!

For the past three years, we’ve invited some of our best friends from the brewing industry and some awesome street food vendors to bring Cardiff its first independent beer festival. As you can imagine, it’s a fair bit of work, and we basically live at The Depot for two weeks every summer.

The first 6 weeks of this year have been absolutely non-stop for us, and it shows no sign of slowing down. Committing to Brewfest would mean spending time that will need to be spent on other projects. We’re not about doing things by half measures (unless it’s an Imperial Puft pour) and want to be sure that any event we put on is the best it can be, and we alone can’t dedicate the time necessary to make this happen. It’s not necessarily the end of Brewfest, but we need to take a step back and gain some breathing space for 2018, which is already looking epic.

HOWEVER, that doesn’t mean we won’t have any events on over summer. On the contrary! We have a massive new space here in Rogerstone that is b-e-a-utiful in the summer sun. We’re going to have to put something on here! Watch this space!
